The Rode VXLR adapter is a simple way to connect your standard camera-mount video microphone to your studio recording or sound reinforcement gear. On one end, the Rode VXLR adapter features an 1/8″ TRSF mini jack, which hooks up to the output of your on-camera microphone. The other end of the Rode VXLR adapter is a standard male XLR connector, which connects to your microphone preamplifier, mixer, or outboard recording device.
